Hello!

            Thank you for visiting the website for the Desert Wells Church of Christ.  We want you to feel comfortable, so let us tell you a little of what to expect when you honor us with a visit.

            We are new to Queen Creek and excited about meeting you!  We are a diverse group of people, coming from varied backgrounds, and different stages of knowledge and spiritual growth.

            We are not brought together by any illusion of our perfection or personal righteousness.   We were brought together by our recognition that we are sinners in need of the cleansing blood of Jesus.

            We want to be God’s people, organized and worshipping according to God’s plans.  We want to be Christ’s church.  We want to be a people who love God and love His word.

             We are not associated with any denomination or organized religious group.  Each Church of Christ is self-governed or independent.

            Our worship services are very simple, consisting of singing, praying, preaching, giving, and communion.  We have communion each Sunday and it is open to all who wish to participate.  The Lord’s Supper is our way of remembering the sacrifice of Jesus each week just as the early church did.

            Our sermons are from one of the men who volunteer each week, lasting 20 to 30 minutes and are very Bible-centered.  Our singing is “a capella” as we strive to worship according to the New Testament pattern.  You will not be asked to give as a guest of ours, but our members give weekly to support the work of the church. 

            We may have some Spanish-speaking people in our midst and if so, we will have a translator for them.  At times our translator may preach in Spanish and then translate for those of us who speak English. 

            We have Sunday morning Bible class for all ages:   preschoolers, elementary school children, youth, and adults.  A large, fenced-in yard in the back serves as a great place for fellowships, a children’s playground, and stargazing with telescopes.
